we began swim lessons with both kids tonight: ezekiel being a Starfish and diedre being a Duck. they both had lots of fun, got really tired out but we neglected to make that our advantage and put them to bed early...well, we have six more tries to get it right :)
lessons run tomorrow and the next night, then four nights next week. its a special additional class they added at the last minute to the pool schedule.
derek handled diedre, and i handled ezekiel. i was very shocked to find out that you can actually teach a six-month-old to blow bubbles in the water. i would not have even thought to try. but tonight he was making pursed lips, in the blowing formation, so we'll see by next week, maybe he will!
and oh wow, he splashes SOOOO much. its quite hard to keep my eyes open when he's facing me. i get absolutely soaked!
anyway, fun times!

That's cool! You'll have to tell me how you talked Ezekiel to do that :) I just watched the video of him giggling and that's so cute! I'm still planning on heading to your place in the morning, so we'll see you then!
